nice room, clean, very nicr continetal breakfast.

I only stayed here one night as I had surgery the first morning, but my family stayed there for a total of 3 nights and said the stay was enjoyable. Previous reviews stated that there was a lot of noise from the interstate and nearby rooms, but that certainly was not the case for us. Our stay was pleasant and I will definitely stay there again!

Our family was very happy with our stay at the Fairfield Inn in Council Bluffs. It is easy to get to right off of the freeway, and has a lot of very close eating places and shopping. The Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo is just a few miles away across the river in Nebraska. Great experience... would highly recommend!

the staff were wonderful and the room and breakfast were well done. My only issue was that my neighbors were very noisy and i could hear a lot of what went on in their room witch means they could hear my kids battling it out as well.

Our room was very clean and the service was excellent. Our room had a bag of Easter candy in it to welcome our children. What a nice touch. The room was small yet clean and comfortable. There are many restaurants nearby, as well.

The hotel was nice, clean, and comfortable. My only complaint is they need to fix the hot tub jets. The pool was so warm that I used it more than the hot tub anyway.

This hotel had a nice location off I-80. There were several spots nearby (I'd consider them within walking distance) to get some dinner, including Cracker Barrel, McDonald's, and Applebee's. There was a nice selection of food provided at breakfast, and the hotel staff checked the levels frequently while I was eating breakfast. The one issue I had was […] my room key- the first time neither one worked, and the employee at the desk said they've had trouble with people's cell phones affecting the keys. After that I made sure to keep my phone separate from both keys, but I still had to swipe it a couple times to get into my room. The positives outweighed the key issue, and I'd stay here again. 詳情

Walls in rooms very thin you can hear the highway road noise and other guests very well.

It was a very great stay! The front desk was extremely helpful in taking care of all of our requests. The rooms smelled clean and fresh and the sheets were crisp clean, but soft. When I come to Council Bluffs, this is where I will stay.

This is a standard Fairfield Inn. The problem is the noise level. Although there is a railroad track that is close, our major problem came from noise within the hotel. We were on the second floor and could hear every step that the people above us took Until 11:30 PM and started up again at 6 AM. Not bad for the price.. breakfast wasn't great, milk was outdated. Beds are very comfortable! Lots of restruants and shopping located around hotel which is nice. Stay on 3rd floor...much more quiet.

Such unfortunate placement of a very nice facility. First the Good: Big clean room, with all the necessary amenities and good coffee/tea station. Especially complete, complimentary 'continental' breakfast, with plenty of protein (boiled eggs, peanut butter, cream cheese, cottage cheese) as well as good fruit, waffle maker, and more. This hotel is close to everything. Shopping, Resturants and Casinos. Room was very nice and beds were comfortable. Great shower. Good pressure and shower head was high for us taller people. Breakfast was a nice surprise. I would not hesitate to stay here again and I would book with Hotels.com again. I saved money.

Staff was excellent with directions and very pleasant. Breakfast food choice was small though. Hot tub was too hot; jets barely work; There were a couple black spots on the shower curtain and also a black marker spot on a washcloth. Called two days prior to arrival to ask about getting an early check-in around 1-2:00 and they said they'd put a note in and it shouldn't be a problem. We arrived at 2:30 and we were the third person in line waiting to check in. We checked in at 2:45 after the desk clerk had to go and see if our room was ready, which it wasn't. She said it would ready […] in a half hour. Keep in mind regular check-in was at 3:00. Pool was closed for some reason during our stay. Bed sheets wouldn't stay on the bed. For an "inn and suites" it was a basic hotel room and there was no mini-fridge. Can't remember the last time i stayed in a hotel that didn't have a fridge in the room. Pros- Nice hotel for the money. Hotel clerk at front desk was very friendly. Room was clean. Cons- Walls were paper thin. Could almost hear neighbors brushing their teeth. No luggage rack in rooms...why not??

I booked the room at the Fairfield as Marriott is my hotel of choice. We stayed two nights and slept 0! The walls of the room were so bad it felt like there was a sheet between us and our neighbors. We could hear their alarm clock go off, the normal conversation (including them wishing each other good night). Above us, even worse!! The foot traffic […] went all night long after a brief time off, began right away the next morning. Same thing the 2nd night! I am not sure if the people above were running foot races between the window and the bathroom but it was amazing how much noise could come out of a room above. Felt like I was back in college housing. Breakfest buffet had no fresh fruit, one waffle maker, and was not the best. When we walked into the hotel it was nice, the rooms the lobby looked updated and clean. the pool was very small for a hotel that big and booked with several families who wanted to play in the small pool. the bathroom to the pool was outside the pool room. so you if you had to go you had to walk downt he cold hallway and you had to use your hotel room […] card to get into the pool very inconvienent. our room was nice and clean but the air conditioner didnt' work!! at all! so it was very hot!!!! and the hotel staff could not fix it until the day we left. so we had to borrow the hotel fan. which did not help much. and the other fan was broke and the to top it off the staff told us that the hotel was was booked so they couldn't change rooms with us. and when we went to get icecream in there hotel snack store..they didn't even offer it to us free. even thought we had been complaining the whole night about the air conditioner not working. the next day we talked with them at check out and all they could do was give us a 10,000 point card..which is basically worthless to us! i would not recommend this hotel. it WAS clean, in an area where there was a lot of dining places. and walmart was close. but for being part of a Marriott it's airconditioners and maintence men should have been working!!!! 詳情

Just some details to complain about especially for Marriott. Towels were either not all clean or yellowed in spots from over bleaching. One washcloth had a lipstick stain that did smear for me. Coffee maker came on at night on it's own which shows that staff did not pay attention to it. Beds were clean and cOmfy. Floors and rest of place was immaculate. […] I think the towels were an isolated event but that was my experience. Breakfast-ah, it was fair, I was able to eat just not a lot to choose from that's yummy...bagels, waffles, oatmeal, cereal, and that is most of it right there. Parking lot well lit and walked at night, but there are signs up saying "not responsible for stolen....". This was not your typical Marriott. Upon arrival staff was dressed in casual clothes, and her friend was laying on a sofa in the lobby texting. Sheets kept coming off the bed and toliet ran all night. Fan/air conditioner did not work.

This hotel was very comfortable. We were just driving through and it was a nice place to land! The beds were very comfortable, the pool was warm, and the continental breakfast was just right. The only disappointment was we had asked for a smoking room and was not told it was a non smoking facility.

Though the hotel is older, the rooms are comfortable and clean.

Pros - comfy bed, clean room, easy to find and close to a Walmart and gas stations. Lots and lots of choices for breakfast. Bible AND Book of Mormon in nightstand to read to help settle in for the night. Very nice!
