"Comfy bed and fairly clean."
We arrived at PDX at midnight and needed to leave for our destination first thing in the morning. The bed was comfy. The room was a little musty, but was clean. The decor is out of date. "Kids loved watching the planes take off!"

The hotel itself was nice and convenient to the Airport. It is right on the run way so if you are a light sleeper you would not want to stay at this location. Every time I travel out of PDX, I use this hotel. Conveniently located in the vicinity of the airport, free shuttle, clean room, free breakfast, free Wi-Fi, and freshly baked cookies upon arrival. "Decent Hampton Inn"
It's unfortunate there isn't a place to eat on the premises. I was traveling alone and didn't want to go to the Sheraton next door and eat dinner by myself.The gym is also at the Sheraton and I did use that. We had a early morning flight and the gals at the desk helped us get our boarding passed for our flight, then suggested the Grill next door for dinner which was yummy!!!! Our room was great and quite...next morning we had a great breakfest and then we caught the shuttle to the air port with plenty of time. "No indoor pool but....."
We had a great stay. The breakfast was wonderful and the kids loved watching the airplanes take off and land. The only thing that was a little annoying is that we specifically picked this hotel because it stated that it had an indoor pool. It does not. However, you are able to go next door to the Sheraton and use theirs, which we did without any trouble...its […] just a lot of trouble to trek over here with the kids when its chilly.
