The bed was extremely comfortable, but that is the only positive comment I can make. The room absolutely reeked from cigarette smoke even though this motel was advertised as a smoke free hotel.Even the towels stank. I should have asked for a room change, but did not because it was late and we were both very tired. I soon discovered that the sink was […] clogged because the stopper had not been cleaned out. and the lightbulb next to the bed was out. We were blessed by the hospitality, service and friendliness of this hotel. When we visit Portland, this will be our new home away from home. Thanks for the service and value.

Not pretty from the outside but the rooms are quite nice. Great place for the price.

Nice hotels and not too far from downtown. The breakfast was pretty good. The rooms are nicely updated and the beds are comfortable, I would stay there again.

When we drove up to this hotel it looked like a "cheap hotel" from the outside. I wasn't sure if I wanted to stay. Inside it was very nice and comfortable. The bed was great and we slept well. It was quiet and very close to the airport. We caught an early morning flight and it was a fantastic place to stay.

Good..The front desk Helpful and friendly The Bad..Breakfast was in two hotel rooms Crowded and poorly organized Ugly The carpeting in our room was really bad. Ok for one night because close to airport and lightrail.

We have always used this hotel when we have an early morning flight out of Portland Or. Very clean, staff great and shuttle on time for both going and when called upon to pick us up.. Breakfast is just a quick carb fix nothing great but a nice bonus to offer guests.. Christina V.

If all you want is close to PDX with a 24 hr shuttle, this is very good, but if you want to sleep you will need to bring your own mattress....theirs is very soft and lumpy...felt like it was 10 years old.

The rooms looked newly renovated and were very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Good location to the airport and shopping at Cascade Station.

This is a great place to stay. Friendly staff, clean and updated rooms.

The hotel was fine, we have trouble with the beds and these were better than some but were still a little hard. The people were very nice and accomodating. We liked the free shuttle to the airport.

Basic hotel with pool. Quiet and clean rooms. Did not hear doors banging all night like many other hotels. Check-in and out was very quick. I lived in Portland for15 years as a adult -- I moved in 1995. I am fairly familiar with the areas around the airport. I decided to stay here because of the gas card offer attached to Hotels.com for this chain of motels. I arrived just after 9 PM on a Friday after a long day at work and a short plane ride. He mentioned the outdoor pool was open until 10 PM and was heated to 82 degrees and I had time for a quick trip to the pool before it closed. I was hot and tired. The pool was very comfortable to just walk into and relax for a bit. It was nice! He also remembers my name on Sunday when I checked out. The breakfast provided was more than you usually find. Hot biscuits and gravy, a waffle station with peanut butter, honey and syrup, 6 different kinds of cold cereal, bagels, assorted danish and muffins all individually wrapped, fresh oranges and bananas AND a refrigerator with several kinds of yogurt and milk in small cartons. Fresh coffee in urns and a juice machine with water and a couple kinds of juice. I ate well both mornings. The room was very nice with a full length mirror on the closet door. The bed was comfortable. The furniture was upscale. There are microwaves, fridges and coffee makers in all the rooms. I was a little concerned being right off the freeway and so close to the airport. I did not hear much traffic or planes during the night. The motel is right next to the bus transit station and the transit train line (MAX). I enjoyed riding the transit system and hopping off all over town to shop. Portland has a very nice system set up. This hotel is OK. Nothing fancy here but the price is right for a quick place to stay before jumping onto a plane. Its an OK place to crash. Breakfast was decent, fairly typical.

The pictures of this hotel do not accruately represent the condition of this place. When I mentioned that the pictures were not accurate. The front desk representative said they had a fire. The fire must have happened quite a while ago because the damage does not show any fire evidence. It looks like they decided to remodel and ran out of money. My […] room was noisey and lacked a tub. When I asked about getting a room with a tub I was told that one was not available unless I downgraded my room. The door to the lavatory would not lock because it was hung off-level. The air conditioner was very loud even on the lowest level. I think a decision was made to place me in that room at the time of my check-in. I must admit the hotel is located close to public transit, my favorite method to see a city. The Max system is just around the corner. This was a great hotel! The exterior was a bit sketchy at first, but the room was very clean and nice. I was in Portland for just a weekend and my stay was great. The location was very convenient. It was right next to the bus and MAX light rail station. I didn't have to drive my own car to downtown or other attractions.

First off for me was the location. It's a bit outside the downtown area, but because it sits directly on the freeway, access to everywhere is super easy. The staff was fantastic from the front desk to the people running the continental breakfast. The room was a tad bit small, but was very comfortable (I don't travel expecting to sit in my room for any […] real amount of time other than to sleep). Another great thing for us was that our room was very quite, even being near the airport and just off the freeway. The continental breakfast was standard fare, but worked for me, since I don't like always having to go somewhere to eat. I would say that especially given the price, I haven't had too many better experiences. I had a grand time staying here, the staff were a great help and I didn't have to wait a while to be checked in. The room was very comfortable and the bed was real comfy. I'd definitely stay again.

The room was GREAT! That part I can't complain about. In fact, it was even fancier than I envisioned. They cleverly and seemlessly combined a little kitchen with the bathroom area. I can't tell you how nice is is to have a fridge and microwave in the room. The hotel was very close to the airport and that was lovely. IThey have an impressive fitness […] center with some top of the line treadmills, elypticals, and weights. I got a good workout in their gym. That's really important to me. I was disappointed to see this was more of an outdoor hotel as opposed to indoor. But that's just splitting hairs. Two more hair splitting features: #1 Their swimming pool was completely dug up and being reconstructed. Now this is no big deal for Portland, OR in November, but as you walk by it every day, it's just not pretty. I thought I was going to have the hotel provide internet access in their lobby. But that was under repair as well. They did offer to look up something for me but that doesn't help if you need to really spend time online for things. Fortunately I had my sister's laptop for access and from what I observed later. It looked like they got their guest pc working. That got fixed after I needed it but it was still done. I was disappointed in the continental breakfast. I wish they had eggs - boiled eggs in particular. I also wish they had wheat toast and butter/margarine. They had cereal and that was good, but I didn't like coming out in the cold morning to get cereal. So my sister and I bought a box of Cheerios and soy milk so that we can have breakfast in our room. The worst part of the stay was their hotel key-cards had a way of de-magnetizing daily. They said it ws because we kept the card too close to our cell phones or key cards, but it seemed no matter where we placed the key-card, it would get de-magnetized and we would have to get our cards re-issued everyday. We stayed here on the way to a family reunion in Utah, we liked it so much we stayed there again on the way back even though we passed several cheaper hotels.

Don't let the exterior of this hotel make you pass it by! It looks very dated and drab from the exterior, but the rooms are very modern, clean, and comfortable. It was a 5-7 minute trip to and from the airport, yet very quiet location. Front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful. This is one of those hotels that doesn't look like much from the outside, but is a great bargain and very comfortable. Despite being right on the highway, the rooms are quiet -- even on the highway side of the motor court. No windows on the back wall and good insulation. The hotel supplied free shuttle service to and from the airport and service was friendly. The rooms were very comfortable and the bed was much nicer than most 2 and 3 star hotels. While the breakfast selection was not as extensive as many hotel breakfasts, the selection was still more than enough for a week's stay. Items included were fresh apples, […] bannanas and oranges, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs(cold), biscuits and gravy, fresh waffles, an assortment of danishes, bagles and muffins, two kinds of cereal, orange and apple juice, coffee and tea. The wireless internet was a bit slow and sporadic, but the front office provided an ethernet cable that allowed us to have fast and reliable web access. The outside of the hotel needs some major work/remodel. The rooms themselves are surprisingly nice and comfortable, you'd never know by looking at the outside. Breakfast wasnt very good, the little cafe everyone else raves about on their reviews is closed for remodel.

We only stayed one night before flying out. They picked us up from the airport after we returned our rental and timely returned us early the next morning for our flight. The hotel rooms are very nice. They include a refrigerator and microwave. The bed has a comfortable pillow top bed. The only issue I had is with the check out of 11:00 am. I think that noon would be more appropriate.

Hotel rooms are very comfortable and have a microwave and refrigerator in all rooms. The outside pool was bigger and nicer than expecdted.
