Very nice hotel. friendly and helpful staff, very convenient location (literally steps away from the BART and other public transportations as well as the union square), clean room, nice morning coffee... all added up to a pleasant experience. I asked for a room facing the courtyard (and away from the elevator) and it was very quiet. The only downside […] was the insufficiency of space for toileteries in the washroom. Perhaps they could install some shelves? Also, the aircon could have been quieter (it was really loud!) so probably better to stay there during cooler weather. Our recent stay at Hotel Abri was brilliant! It exceeded out expectations by far. After reading other reviews abotu noise, we requested a "quiet" room which was on the internal side of the hotel, which meant it was a little small, but still more than enough for 2 people and it was indeed quiet! Nice hotel but our King room was way smaller than expected. But it was a nice room nonetheless. The front desk was super nice and helpful. I would recommend it if you can find a good deal on it. I wouldn't pay full price.

We chose Hotel Abri for its location and because it could accommodate 2 adults and 2 kids with something other than 2 double beds. We had a suite and it was perfect. Nice bathroom, comfy beds (even the pullout couch wasn't terrible), big desk, fridge, table & chairs, free wi-fi that was pretty fast. Great staff -- very helpful and friendly. And you cannot beat the location: a short walk to all variants of public transportation, restaurants, shopping, theaters, you name it. Local area is busy but not excessively loud, even on a weekend. And the next-door restaurant (which provides room service) makes good food which loses nothing by being hand-carried to one's room. There's a bar across the street of the hotel, close at 2 a.m. Before 2 it was super noisy, around 2 to 3 it's like an endless party, all the people out from the bar yelling and drinking at the street. The hotel is nice for the right price. I have stayed in several boutique hotels around the city and they are usually very comparable. The problem is that they all raise their prices after receiving high ratings to the point where they are no longer good deals. Hotel Abri is worth a stay if under $180.

The hotel location is very center, closed to everything. The hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. I'm glad I have choosen the hotel as it's location is top in the list. The room is small. The air conditioner is very noisy. But overall we jave enjoyed it.

Went to medical education at Marriott. Abri was much nicer and with free internet. Short walk to conference and central location.

Close to union square and market street, but weird homeless perple sleeping next to hotel, the room was convenient and the bathroom seed renewed. We were every day short of shampoo and soap and toilet paper, had to ask ever day! Clean towels. Nice front desk staff.

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Abri. The hotel is well maintained, the room was comfortable, though a little bit small, and conveniently located. The train (bart) from/to SFO airport is located a block away. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Hotel was quiet (no partying, no noise). I recommend it.

The room has a very eccentric feel, not the best views but a great setup nice tv comfy bed and fantastic service from hotel staff, the neighborhood is absolutely fine, there will be some interesting characters In the morning but none that were bothersome.

Good location if you want to be near Union Square. Room on inner court was quiet despite our stay during a weekend. Professional and friendly staff.

One negative: the hallway in certain areas smelled like cat litter. I think it must be pet-friendly. Our room did not have that smell though.

We had a great trip to San Francisco, topped off by the staff at Hotel Abri. Near Union Square,and Powell St Muni station, we found so many things to see and do. Wish we had stayed the entire weekend. Hotel Abri upgraded us to a suite, which was very comfortable....Thanks!!! See you next time

We had a great stay at the Hotel Abri. It is in a convenient location, the rooms were nice and fairly well updated. I was in S.F. for a conference and Hotel Abri was 1-2 blocks away. There were several great diners/restaurants in the area. One of the plugs didn't work, but maintenance was quick to repair it. The service was great in general. There was […] also a club across the street from our room and it was incredibly loud during the night. This isn't the hotels fault, but something to consider if you want to sleep well. Parking through the hotel is expensive and the car is parked in a lot about 6 blocks away. We found an alternate garage across the street that was less and more convenient. 詳情

very very small rooms. A lot of noise from the street as well as noise from other rooms and hallways. Couldn't ask for a better location and the staff were all excellent. Right in the middle of the shopping district and next to the tram terminal.

Hotel is in a great location relative to transit and shopping. Close to restaurants and other great amenities. The staff was great but the rooms were a little on the small side. Being downtown may be a bit much for families with young children after night fall.

The staff provided amazing suggestions, from wine tours to specific areas for my girlfriend and I to visit. The hotel is in a great location to get to different parts of the city, shopping is literally right around the corner, and there are tasty restaurants within walking distance.

The best part of staying here is its proximity to public transportation; SHORT walking distance to the F Line, Cable Cars, and BART; and its close to alot of shopping and restaurants. The rooms are quite small and not designed well (i.e. the tv is not located in front of the bed, the closet doors and bathroom door open keep the other one from opening). Not ideal for dual occupancy at all.
