Located in the city’s north side, this is Osaka’s center for contemporary shopping. In addition to numerous shopping malls, this is the home of the Umeda Sky Building. Designed to reflect the image of the sky, the building’s two 173 meter towers are joined by exterior escalators and a rooftop floating garden. I traveled to Osaka for a business trip, and I did not have enough time to go out and enjoy its surrounding; however, for a short time, I had a chance to go out for a brief shopping for my kid. A location of Hilton Osaka is very convenient to move around, and there were many places that I would like to visit if I had another chance next time. staying Osaka Hilton at July 2009 for 5 nights It's been comfortable to visit nearby cities like Kobe, Kyoto, Himeji. Deluxe Room was pretty big one comparale to other hotels in Japan but not so romantic or luxury enough to five star hotel. We have lots of Chenese Group tourist at morning breakfast buffet. The location of the hotel is great. You can get access to the Osaka train station, the subway and even some great department stores (like Daimaru and Hanshin) without getting wet even when it is raining. The staff are polite and helpful. The breakfast buffet is just great, with plenty of dishes to choose from and the quality of food is superb. However, […] from our room the view is completely blocked by the Daiichi Hotel opposite even we stayed at 22/F.
