Convenient location for Guggenheim in a pretty commercial section. Also near Casco Viejo. The hair dryers were broken in both our rooms. Staff did not offer any discount though they seem to welcomed our feedback though looked not too surprised about it.

Our rooms was quite pretty, with a very big bathroom (with tub), but I think this room needed a bit of care (the painting in the bathroom was coming off in some places and the hair dryer did not work. The front desk staff is extremely helpful! The rooms are clean, but very worn. Our room had ripped carpet, cracked walls in the bathroom and toilet tissue stuffed in the "peep hole" on the door. If you are looking for a five star hotel, this is not your place.

It's a shame there was constant music - sometimes very loud in the subterranean lobby which was accessed through crowds of refugee smokers. Really ideal location between Guggenheim and old town, near many shops, places to get food, coffee, bars. Generally friendly hotel staff, pleasant rooms. An older hotel that's been nicely updated. No free internet in the lobby and no place really to sit in the lobby, in contrast to some other hotels.

This hotel is nothing like its photos online. Apart from the fact that the modern very dimly lit lobby looks modern and trendy the rooms are very tired and old. Don't for one minute believe the photos you see - the gym looks nothing like the photo and the solarium - its a plastic grass covered rooftop with pot holes and absolutely no furniture to sit […] or lie on - solarium - I don't think so! The worse part of this hotel, apart from the smoke filled unpleasant lobby is the extremely rude staff at at the front desk, especially the men and the even ruder staff at the restaurant. Nice central hotel in Bilbao, about a 10min walk to the Guggenheim and close to the shopping district. So much better than Ercilla's sister hotel "Ercilla lopez de haro" which is terrible

Hotel is in a nice location. Tons of shopping in the area. When we checked in, they put us in a terrible room. We're on our honeymoon, which I put in the comments when I reserved the room. They put us in a room with 2 twin beds, unmatching sheet sets, brown stain on the sheets, tiny window with not much light for the room. It was bad. I called and they […] let us switch to a much nicer room. King bed, large window, lots of light. Still not great for the price, but it worked. During checkout, there was a huge line and only one person working the desk who spoke very little English. Hotel is in a good location, and the room was large and clean. The staff were rude and unhelpful (in particular the man checking us in) and so we had no idea about the services offered. This is a contrast to everyone else we met in Bilbao, including the staff in the hotel cafe next door (good for a light breakfast) who were friendly and helpful. This modern hotel was very clean, quiet and in a great location. We walked everywhere. The metro was close so we had the option to take the metro or the tram. The rooms were very clean. We had booked two room and had ajoining rooms which was fun. Yes, we would stay again.

Otelin girişi merdivenli, eşya taşımak için bir asansör var ancak bozuktu. Bellboy'lar birbirleri ile muhabbet ediyorlardı. Tüm eşyamızı kendimiz taşıdık. Check out günü de aynı şey oldu. Bellboy'lar hiç bir destek olmadılar.

El hotel esta muy bien situado, cerca de todos los puntos de interés y en una de las mejores zonas de la ciudad. Se tenían unas expectativas bastante altas con el hotel, por los comentarios de los demás y las imágenes y explicaciones de su web. A la llegada hotel vimos que el hotel tenía muy buena decoración en el hall y en la entrada al edificio, pero […] el mobiliario del lobby dejaba bastante que desear ya que no estaba muy cuidado, sino todo al contrario, muy bien decorado pero todos los sofás estaban rotos y desgastados. Las habitaciones que nos dieron eran muy pequeñas y con vistas a patios interiores. Muy bien situado en casco urbano. No se necesita transporte público. Tranquilidad en la habitación. Reformado. Muy limpio. Es lo que esperas encontrar cuando vuelves a descansar tras un ajetreado día. Wifi de pago y desayuno no incluido son los únicos incovenientes que encontré.

Es cierto que, para el hotelazo que es o era, las habitaciones, al menos, algunas, están bastante usadas y necesitan una renovación. Pero en general, la estancia estuvo bien y todo fue correcto, desde la atención en recepción a los amenities del baño. La habitación resulta algo pequeña, aunque el baño es suficientemente espacioso. La ubicaciòn es lo mejor, ya que esta en el centro de Bilbao, a pocos pasos de la Gran Via, Del casco historico, Las paradas de metro estan cerca, muy buena ubicaciòn. Lo unico negativo es lo pequeñas y sencillas que son las habitaciones y que los pasillos huelen a cigarro, la 7ma planta por lo menos... lo demas todo bièn.

Vi ble positivt overrasket over at vi fikk et så bra hotell med sental beliggenheten til en veldig hyggelig pris. Vi bestilte tidlig og kunne velge en rompris som ikke kunne avbestilles eller endres, men for vår del var dette helt greit og vi fikk mye for pengene. El Hotel Ercilla está bien situado, pero necesita una remodelación interior. Una de las habitaciones que ocupamos era prácticamente interior y muy oscura. El secador de pelo es muy antiguo(como los de un gimnasio) y hay una necesidad de remodelar la decoración bastante llamativa.
