Gorgeous hotel! Friendly and welcoming staff at all encounters. Helpful doormen and Concierge. Very nice room and large bathroom. Hotel and our room was very clean. The Tuileries Garden one block away makes this an excellent choice for anyone needing fresh air and breathing space in a very crowded Paris. When we arrived we were upgraded to a better room - VERY large by European standards including large bath. Prior stay we had a standard room which was adequate. Hotel is convenient to Metro, Louvre, etc. Outside of hotel there are a lot of tourist attractions which can be a plus or a minus.

Great locations for shopping, sight-seeing, restaurants and cafe's. We did not use any restaurants as it is plenty of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner right outside. Excellent and friendly service!!

Location, location, location. This hotel was right in the middle of all the places we wanted to visit. Only steps to the Louvre and to Tuileries. The building is a bit older, but we love the Art Nouveau architectural style.

Hotle from the begining of the 19 century. One of the oldest elevator still in service, wall tiles from the opening of the hotel. One of the very few hotel privatly owne by the same family. Great service!

Loved the Regina. Great location with a Metro station just a stone's throw away.. Same with the Louvre and Tuileries. Wonderful view from our room. Easy walk to almost everything. We enjoyed this hotel, because it was clean, comfortable, BUT it was a bit farther away from the sites of Paris than some of the other notable hotels. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was huge. if you're looking for a good deal--this could be your best choice!

Good concierge service, helpful reception. Hotel in a great position and could be fabulous but feels a bit staid and dowdy. Could do with a makeover and some modernising (creaky revolving doors, cranky elevator etc).

We enjoyed it very much. Location you cant beat. Stayed in Family room and One double. Family room is basically 2 doubles connected. Service and friendliness was impeccable. We would definitely revisit and recommend.

Very Pleasant stay. While the Hotel is a bit tired looking and I think needs some TLC. The staff were very attentive. The location was excellent , Would suggest however that you eat breakfast at one of the little cafe's close to the hotel. 50 - 60% cheaper than the hotel.

Perfect location, beautiful lobby, impeccable service. Only complaint is the air conditioning was not working well, so the room got a bit muggy in the summer heat. Possibly this problem could have been rectified by the staff had we taken time to ask.

Location is very good for getting around Paris. We stayed at the end of the business trip, and thought that staying in a 4 star hotel was the way to go. I not sure whether the fact you book through the net, you get the cheapest room even though paid for a superior room. The best thing about this was it was a reasonable size. The atmosphere was unfriendly […] and dark, a lot of the sitting areas were rope off and you were direct to the Terrance area outside to sit on uncomfortable chairs if you wanted a drink. No tea or coffee in the rooms. Information limited in the room there was only the room service booklet and none given on arrival. In fact on arrival there were more important things going on than us being booked in, that is, conversation between the two members behind the counter. We didn't have a tv that worked for 3 days of our stay and they refused to move us to another room. We supposedly were upgraded before we checked in. I have stayed in this hotel before and we had a view of the Eiffel Tower (after a lot of hassle with the manager to get the room that we had requested and paid for 10 months prior), this room was in no […] way upgraded. Fabulous location right next door to the Louvre! Very large room by Paris standards. Multiple metro stations within walkin distance allows acess to all of Paris. Lots of street vendors near for sandwiches and crepes.

Overpriced for what it is and the service received. Stayed in a Regina suite, inner courtyard view (would rate a 2). Prices range from expensive to extortionate - and they still charge for internet access!
