I apologize that you encountered issues with the thermostat in the room which resulted in your room being too hot. We do try to take all proactive measures to ensure all of our guests are comfortable at all times, and I apologize this was not caught prior to your arrival. I did notice you mentioned we were not attached to the airport; however, even though our main entrance is located across the street from the Air Canada Departures Level, you can access the Delta Calgary Airport by overhead walkway on the Mezzanine Level. That way you can avoid the cold weather next time you visit!

I did look into your reservation, and I have on file that you stayed in one of our Delta Rooms with 2 Queen Sized Beds. I do know that the beds can appear smaller due to the size of our rooms, but I can assure you that the beds in your room were Queen size. I have followed up with our Front Office team to ensure that they are confirming all room types at the time of check in to avoid this confusion in the future. I can appreciate your concerns with the dry air you experienced during your visit to Calgary; the climate can be unforgiving in the winter. We are doing our best to combat the ever-changing Calgary weather by anticipating warmer temperatures this spring; however, we always have fans available for guests who experience a warmer room, to help with cooling the room quicker, please feel free to request one upon check in. I’ve followed up with our In Room Dining team regarding your order, as this should have been resolved much more effectively by the team so that you received the meal you wanted before you went to bed. We are keeping active in checking room temperatures whenever a room is being serviced; especially when warmer weather arrives in Calgary (the weather is always changing here!). I had our Rooms Quality team look into the new Keurig Coffee Maker in your room, and they found that the machine had been unplugged. I apologize for the inconvenience, especially because we all need our coffee first thing in the morning, and hope that you’re morning went smoothly despite this minor set-back. The standard room temperature for Delta Hotels is 20°C, so I have followed up with our Executive Rooms Quality Manager to ensure that this standard is being met for all rooms, as well as having the heating system checked for noise every time the room is serviced. We've taken off some of the less popular items, kept the guest favorites, and added over 7 different poutine options including bison, duck, and lobster!
