The Le Meredian is a beautiful hotel in the financial district. It's close to the Embarcadero and the Feery Building but a 5-6 block walk to Market Street and the Muni. The rooms and amenities are great and consistent with Starwood but the hotel lacks a culture of customer service. The front desk staff is the worst - they act like everything is a bother […] and they are doing you a favor. I am a frequent business traveler and I have never seen a hotel this bad. Everything was perfect about our stay. The hotel is in an excellent location as it's just down the road from Pier 1 to Pier 39 and The Wharf. Because of our home construction, my gf and I are living with our parents, and you can imagine that can be inconvenient. I decided to get a hotel room in downtown for the weekend just so we can have some alone time, and it was such a good idea. The room was modern and chic. And we aren't sure if it's high thread count or really soft sheets, but it felt […] so silky sleeping in it. The bed itself was also very comfortable. People respect our privacy also. We forgot to put the "Do not disturb" card on the door knob but there was no cleaning lady knocking on our door. We didn't hear any vacuum sound along the hallway either. The view was also amazing, they put us on the 20th floor so we could see everything. It also sits in financial district. We walked over to little Italy for dinner, and my gf loved the walk cuz she got to all the little stores / bars / restaurants along the way. 詳情

I am a big fan of Starwood hotels overall. The room was spacious, clean and the bed very comfortable. We had a great view to the bay bridge. It was quiet and almost no kids. The bar downstairs was a plus. Short cab ride from most places. I will be sure to go back!

The hotel graciously allowed early check-in, which was a blessing. The room was clean and had a wonderful view of the harbour. We were able to walk to many attractions. When we needed a taxi, one was hailed, and we were on our way in no time. The assistance we received at the concierge desk was very appreciated. Hotel location is excellent. Very close to the waterfront, ferry building and Chinatown. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Room was decent with a view of the Bay bridge. But the carpet could be cleaner. Bathroom door didn't have a lock. Valet/overnight parking was steep.

This is a nice hotel, and convenient...to the Ferry Building/FiDi. It has a decent bar, but otherwise a small lobby area. Overall, I was happy with the stay, but their late night room service is slow (45min-1hour).

Fantastic hotel. Perfect as a central location to check out the city. 4 mins walk to the Ferry Terminal. The only negative was that they don't have free wi-fi, you have to pay for it :(

Really good room.comfortable, great view.shower and bath..large hanging space..well stocked minibar..free wifi or free use of the computers in lobby business centre for an hour a day..but no free wifi in the rooms!..why? Problems with the printer brought a very unconcerned response from the hotel staff..and it wasn't fixed 2 days later..don't upset […] the breakfast staff by not following the instructions of the non-existent staff..just upsets them..staff may turn up after 5 minutes or so..and costs too high..go out to eat..plenty of places close by to eat..a cheaper option..very good value for the room..not to far from shops..a block from the California St cable car run..trolley buses outside..and 3 blocks from the BART..which isn't a trouble to use once you work out how to use the ticket vending machine..a bit like Melbourne's Myki or London's Oyster ticketing system..you just add value to the ticket..you don't buy a ticket to a certain destination..all in all a great place to stay 詳情

The rate was exceptional which made this a great value. My room was on the 20th floor with great views, the food was delicious (room service), and I appreciated the free water. Now why can't they offer free wifi...

Close to many great restaurants including Tadichs. Very clean room and friendly staff. Parking was over $60 w tax and very nice valets.

Was ok. Staff a bit clueless but generally good. Breakfast set me back 40 bucks so that was a 1 time thing. Good spot.

The ambience of the room was excellent...great design, roomy closet space, floor to ceiling windows with killer views of the marina, Bay Bridge, surrounding scenery!

THE NEGATIVES: The walls are paper thin and we had the room right across from the elevators...didn't sleep well to say the least. There was hair inside of the cotton ball holders, had one wash cloth in the bathroom, after the cleaning lady came she just left the towels thrown on the counter (not folded or hung up). A nice hotel and conveniently located. Note that the lobby is currently closed for renovation. Access is via a slightly awkward corridor and small elevator. Also a few extras appear to have been eliminated, no newspaper at door, only one soap bar for both sink and shower/tub, only one bathrobe in room, no shower cap, etc.....

I stayed here for 5 nights. They cleaned room only once completely . The service lady said twice that she was too busy to manage 3 floors so she would just change the bath towels. This is RIDICULOUS service

They charged us twice for our room service and when I called about it they never returned my phone call. When I called again they said it had happened to everyone that weekend. I was turned off because the person on the phone never apologized about the situation and said it would be fixed in a few days. It was very hard to get through to the hotel as […] when you call you get an operator then transferred to front desk then transferred to accounting then transferred to accounts payable; too much transferring can't anyone just help. It was also upsetting because the food was not good especially considering how much we paid. The hotel was under construction during our visit as well and there was a definite lack of signs directing you around the hotel including the location of the front desk and how to get to ground level. The only time I was wowed was when a valet person ran ahead of us to push the button for the elevator so it would be ready for us. 詳情

The check-in area is confusing because the hotel is under construction. You have to take two elevators to go from your room to the street and vice-versa. Room was very clean though.
