The hotel was good, clean and comfortable. The best thing was that it was so close to the train station, JR Line.

We stayed for two nights here, and while the immediately surrounding area is a bit dead at night (a business area), the hotel is next to a station which has the nearby Harajuku and Shinobo areas only a couple of stations away. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and spoke English ok. No WiFi which is a bit annoying if you have a phone that needs […] it. There is a LAN connection however. Even it has a famous name the facilities are just standard business hotel level or even below as the rooms are too small.

Booked a night at the New Otani Inn, next to Osaki train station in Tokyo. Pros: Close to train station, fairly clean & tidy room, non-smoking floors available, free baggage storage after you check out. Cons: Tiny room. No temperature control in our room, only built-in fan speed control, so the room was a bit too warm, with no way to cool the room […] down, and the window can't be opened. Rooms are quite old (80's?). Decore and some facilities are quite dated, especially the bathroom (although it was clean). Bed is really firm and the pillows are like flat pancakes. Bar fridge has no room for anythying exepct the typical expensive hotel drinks, which cant be removed & replaced as the fridge reports anything removed & its charged to you. 詳情

The room, as other reviewers have noted, was very very warm and there are no outside windows or other ways to cool off the room. Otherwise, not bad for the price which is high but low among Tokyo hotels. Very convenient to Osaki station which connects across Tokyo.

The room temperature was hard to regulate. It was either too cold or too hot. We stayed in three different rooms. The temperature (during February) depended on the room location to some extent. One employee said they had some control another said they didn't.

The hotel does not offer wireless internet access and charges for wired access. It is not compatible with Apple I-Pads. As a business traveler this is very important to me and I would not recommend this hotel for this reason

The hotel is extremely close to the Osaki station which is on the Yamanote line, meaning it is extremely convenient to get to anywhere in Tokyo. It is very comfortable although some areas could be cleaner, and the staff were friendly. It was also great that it is part of Ohsaki New Town which includes and supermarket and several good eateries. The Osaki-Inn hotel deserves a 1.5 star rating, I will never stay here again, It had obviously disgusting "stains" on the coverlet's that had never been cleaned. I booked a non-smoking room weeks in advance, and was granted a smoking-room that absolutely reaked of cigarettes. The "Air-conditioning" was unable to bring the room below 30c (85f) at night […] making a sweltering evening even for a temporary business guest, Therefor I do not recommend this hotel to any guest seeking a reasonably comfortable medium-class or higher lodging. Tokyo hotels tend to be small and this clean, convenient one is no exception. Having said that, being rIght off the JR Yamanote Line makes this ideal to get to all the main areas of the city.

The room I had was clean, but small and in a rather ordinary business type district. The staff was very cordial (as seems to be true throughout Japan), and their knowledge of English was adequate. This is a hotel that has seen better days. The location, connected to Osaki Station, is convenient for people doing business with companies in the area. The hotel itself is a bit shabby, although the rooms appear to have been partially renovated. There is a desk with an ethernet internet connection in each room. Use of the the internet costs extra, […] and in my view, the cost is somewhat excessive, given the the hotel rate and that similar hotels offer high speed connections free of charge with the room. The lobby of the hotel is on the second floor, at the level of the train stations. However, the entrance for taxis is hard to find, and when you pull up, looks completely closed and is deserted. My taxi driver circled twice and actually had to walk up to the door to confirm it was indeed the entrance. The whole experience staying there was very, very ordinary. 詳情

We stayed for 7 nights for our free and easy exploration around Tokyo. The location of hotel is excellent, just right infront of train station, direct train to Disney Resort, plenty of food outlets like Burger King, Subways, Starbucks Coffee, MacDonald within 100m to 500m walking distance. A shopping centre annexed to hotel with close to 10 Japanese […] Restaurents offer different variety of food. Free wireless internet connection at lobby area is excellent, easy and fast. Hotel staff speak English which is extremely helpful since there aren't too many English speaking Japanese on the street (10%). Room is clean, nice amenities. The New Otani Inn was the 4th hotel during our two week vacation in Japan. By this time, we had expectation standard and this hotel met it: clean, orderly, tiny room/bath, staff helpful, very limited English, etc. Location, for our needs, very good, as subway (Osaki station) was just across the street, and accessible via a convenient bridge walkway. […] Starbucks, McDonald's downstairs, and a market. If my ratings appear harsh, it would only be because we're used to traveling in the USA, where, the hotels are much much more spacious and nicer. 交通の利便性はいうことなかったが、ホテルのフロントの対応がいまいちだった。 荷物の件でたずねたときも、フロント業務に忙しいのは分かるが、客のいる前で上司が部下に指示を出すのはいいが、その出し方が露骨過ぎた。

・大崎駅前で立地はいいが、部屋はいまいち。　たまたまかも知れないが、学生が多くて煩かった。　ビジネスホテルの方がベター。 ・フロントの対応は、よくない。 I don't recommned this hotel at all. There are many hotel you can be satisfied in Japan.

Mycket nära tågstation och endast två hållplatser från stora affärsgator. Lungt område, nära till livsmedelsaffärer och restauranger. Hotellet helt OK.

隣の部屋の音や、テレビの音が反射したりなど。　お掃除の方の声もしっかりきこえました。　レートが安かったので予約しましたが、正規の値段ではとてもまんぞくできません。

El hotel es de una calidad correcta y su ubicación es excelente, quedando el acceso a la línea Yamanote justo enfrente del hotel.

今の時代に、部屋の冷蔵庫の中が、昔の旅館のように法外な値段の飲み物のみで、買い込んだ飲み物を冷やす場所がなかったことに驚きました。 そして部屋のロックがカードキーではなく「カギ」だったことも驚きです。

立地や部屋のカンジは良かったのですが、エレベーターホール付近だったため騒がしかったのと、部屋間違いをいて入ろうとしてくる人がいて怖かった。チェックアウトに時間がかかったので改善してほしいです。
