Three negatives from me: Our room needed to be renovated; the a/c in the bathroom was coming away & the carpet was stained & tatty. The room was a decent size though & the staff were great. You have to pay £25 pp to use the spa (except from 0700-0900)& the gym is pretty feeble for a hotel of this price/ star level. You also have to pay to use the internet […] (£7 for an hour, £15 for a day) and the breakfast prices are eyewatering: £18 for two eggs, £7 for cereal etc. With room prices so high, it's pretty weak to pick your pocket for everything that many hotels provide as standard. While the location of the hotel was fantastic, I don't think I would stay here again. The hotel staff was very helpful, almost overwhelmingly so. I have never stayed at a hotel where the front desk clerk walks you to your room after checking you in. It leaves you confused - do you tip or not? We did tip him, of course, but found this a bit annoying. […] Usually you expect to tip the bellman so you're prepared for it but a front desk clerk? It left a bad taste in my mouth. Overall, the location of the hotel was great but for the amount of money you're spending to stay here, it was a bit disappointing. 詳情
