Days Inn Lake Norman - 康尼留斯

Was not a pleasant stay. The lid for the toilet tank was missing and the water filling it was extremely loud. Tried to get ice from 4 machines, all were either empty or not working.

It was really dirty and out dated. The ice machine didn't work, the bed was broken, the bathroom was dirty. I could keep going all day long. If I wasnt stuck there due to not being able to cancel and get a refund, I would have left.

The walls are paper thin, the bathroom towels are paper thin, and the ability of management to handle noisy neighbors is paper thin. If you're a high school kid, this is your place to party all night. If you looking for a place to sleep, find another hotel. THE GOOD: The staff at this hotel were friendly and helpful, couldn't ask for better service. Room furishings are dated but 100% adequate, no complaints here. Nightly rate through Hotels.com was a deal, for sure. THE BAD: Room was not clean. IT SUCKED, NASTY!!!

Old, motel style hotel with dry bread/rolls as a breakfast. Far better hotels available locally.

Would not stay here unless they guarantee you a room that has been remodeled. The room we had had old beat up furniture and old stained carpet. The place just needs an update. I can't say that the room was dirty but certainly wasn't the standard I enjoy staying in.

Front desk staff extremely nice and helpful. Clean rooms, mattress not very comfy, but I'm picky about that! Overall a nice, quiet stay.

I read the reviews and thought there was no way it could be that bad. I was amazed at the smell and that the rooms were dirty. I would have not stayed exept that I arrived very late for my stay and wasn't familiar with the location. I have a pet that is well trained and pampered. I was upset to think that she had to stay in that room. Sadly she got […] fleas and had to be treated. Is there a place in this location where the rooms are clean and pet owners have a place to travel without being subjected to these gastly accomodations? I will never stay in this hotel again. Dirty and smelled of mold. DO NOT stay here.

We found this Days Inn to be a clean comfortable place to stay for a reasonable price. If you must have Wifi in your room the signal is almost non-existent and you must use the lobby which is nicely appointed.

The room was adequate however, the continental breakfast was lacking. The juice machines were out of order and the selection of food was few. I was disappointed.

The Days Inn has gotten worn in comfort, bedding and the walls need painting! sad for now! ... but wait! I just heard Wyndham Resorts has recently bought the Days Inns and Super 8's motels and soon to be renovating them to first class accomandations!!! Will be looking forward to next years stay on my way to my next vacation!

This is an inexpensive place to stay. Don't expect a 5 star hotel. It's a little run down and they could do a better job keeping it clean. In order of importance....the internet was down the entire time, and I had great hopes in catching up with my work/home email. The heat in our room was not working, and it was too late at night for us to make a change so my 87 yr old mother & I just tried to keep warm as best we could and endured. Hotel only had internet in lobby. I was very upset, considering this was the primary reason I reserved this hotel. When I asked the front desk how come I dont have internet, she said you have to have a ethernet cable. SERIOUSLY, who carries a ethernet cord around with them??? And even if I did, this was a complete LIE, because our room was so outdated […] it didnt have access to any modern world technology that I could plug an ethernet cord into. Our room had mold all over bathroom cieling and wall. TV, Alarm clock, microwave, and refridgerator are all old and have seen better days. Having stayed at other Day's Inns, this was definitely a disappointment. Everything smacked of neglect; the room was dull, the vent in the bathroom was pitted with rust and appeared moldy, the towels were small, there was no conditioner to supplement the very small shampoo, no regular coffee for the coffeemaker, the sheets were nearly threadbare, and […] there were two large rips in the worn blanket. The kicker was the little plastic Days Inn sign on the nightstand, pledging their commitment to cleanliness and service; it was covered with food stains! Outside, not much better; overflowing trash cans, plastic garbage bags on the walkways. Granted it is still winter, but there should be some effort to make it presentable. The breakfast was largely processed items, and fresh fruit consisted of a few shop-worn apples and oranges. I have had much better offerings at more moderately priced lodgings. Had it not been past 7 and had we not already traveled 650 miles, we would have looked for someplace else. One bonus: The Acropolis Restaurant across the street was quite good. I know that the Days Inn has a reputation of not being the best hotel to stay at but it is usually a good place to at least spend the night. This hotel was not very courteous, the exercise facility was garbage, the beds were not in the least bit comfortable. The only highlight was that it had hot water for the shower.

The room needs ALOT of work and updating and cleaning.

If you book your room with hotels.com, expect no service and outright hostility from the folks behind the front desk. They will not provide you with proof of your stay (for travellers needing proof for reimbursement). They will tell you no other rooms are available except the one you have with I-77 sounding inches from your window (despite a vacant […] parking lot and bored housekeepers). If you need to extend your stay, they will still wake you up and try to kick you out before realizing you have paid for extra days. Rude and incompetent staff, higher priced than other similar hotels in the area. Will not stay again. This by far is the worst hotel ever!!!!! We arrived at 8:00 pm and the check-in was fine then went to visit my family came back to room and went to bathroom and there was urine on the toilet and the room had an awful smell. Went back to front desk and she changed rooms for us the other one was a little cleaner and did not smell. They have a lounge well […] call it a bar and the music was very loud but the good thing is you can't hear the music but you sure can hear the drunks afterwords it was around 1:00 am and while trying to sleep all you heat is drunks going around cussing and we had kids in the room with us. On Sunday when we got up to leave there were broken beer bottles on the sidewalk, steps, and under my car we went and told the lady at the desk she said yeah we know he just hasn't had time to get to it remind u it was 10:30 am when we left. In my opinion that would be the top of my list to do before someone fell on it. Beds were very comfortable, very quite, had a frig and microwave in the room. It's nothing fancy but very nice. Definetley a good place to stay. They even allow pets for an extra fee.

Great Hotel, Nice Rooms. Pool clean and the property was nice. The grounds were well kept and the staff was really exceptional nice. Would recommend for anyone to say.

This was only an average Days Inn. The rate was good, the room was satisfactorily clean, and it was a safe, clean neighborhood with a nice cafe/restaurant across the street. No problems with the hotel. It had a reasonable price and was near where I had other plans. I used the hotel for sleeping and cleaning up. It was fine for those purposes.

This hotel is not good at all!! Avoid if possible. Not even the breakfest is worth the money.

The hotel is not very well kept. The rooms look old and the appearance is of a not very clean place. The free breakfast is a joke. They have coffee, bagel and muffins and they all taste horribly

The room charge for this stay was during the Lowes Motor Speedway Coke 600 and therefore was somewhat inflated.However,be that as it was,the room was very comfortable the beds were excellent. The breakfast was OK,but nothing to brag about. I certainly would recommend this hotle to my friends for a one or two night stay.
