The staff was all very nice, and the restaurant had a good selection of good food. Only negatives - Our room was next to the stairway, so we could hear the stairway door slamming shut starting about 6:30 every morning. Hotel was certainly in a great location and was clean - however it needs an update to decor and facilities - which it seems is about to start. At least they know what they need to improve.

Hilton should be ashamed to label this hotel under its brand. The staff are very friendly and the gym is nice but the entire facility needs to be steam cleaned. The halls are covered in cob webs and dust bunnies. The wall paper in my room was caked (yes, caked) in a layer of dust that's probably 10 years old. Hilton Post Oak is in need of an update. There was a large poster board in the lobby with some of the materials for a freshening of the lobby. That said, the room was clean and comfortable but not quiet. There were a series of events going on and other guests were pretty loud. As soon as I pulled to the entrance I thought I was going to be in a great room. I walked into my room and was pleased with the view from the balcony. The hotel has been very extensively rennovated and is quite nice. The decor is top notch. The staff is friendly. The pool area is very relaxing, but the weather did not let us take advantage of it. The hotel physical plant was fine. Room service was dreadful. Service was awful. They were slow, sloppy, and rude. When they didn't want to assist, they'd lie to their managers. All in all, avoid.

It was a perfect location for our family with our daughter in the Houston Marathon. We especially appreciated the excellent care and service of the staff in the hotel restaurant/grill.

The first issue was the poor house keeping: There was a hand towel left wadded up on the floor under the bathroom vanity. The Kleenex box had a tightly wadded up ball of tissues stuck in the opening. When I picked it out, the box was empty. The bathroom floor was spotted and needed mopping. The shower soap dish was old and dingy looking. The carpet […] was old throughout the building too. But what really got me was the room got hot, and the air conditioner was loud. It took all night to cool off, and that was when I finally turned it down to 54 degree. This trip was just a night out with my kids to get out of the house and be near the Galleria. But at 2:00 a.m. we almost decided to pack up and go home. But we stuck it out. Other Hilton's are much nicer. But I would not recommend this hotel at this location. 詳情

Wonderful staff and property. A wee bit on the pricey side but I knew it wasn't a flop-house when I made the reservations. Location is close to expressway, so travel throughout the city was a breeze. The only possible issues were no free wi-Fi and the parking fee (either self or valet).

I would give it more than a 5 if possible. I thought that the hotel was great for the money. The customer service was amazing. The shuttle service was so very useful and the driver that I had the majority of the time (other than on one occasion) was great. The hotel restaurant was good and very affordable. I have no complaints.

I needed to spend one additional night in the Houston area and chose this hotel as it was near to the Galleria. I was able to walk 2 blocks to the Galleria, which was quite nice. Not as nice was the $15/day parking fee, which was either not mentioned in the hotel review or I missed it. Traffic in this area of town is quite awful and I really did not […] want to drive once I checked in and paid my parking fee both because of the traffic and the parking fee at the hotel. I spent one night there for a wedding. The room was quite large. Bathroom was clean and a nice size also. Parking in the garage was easy- I self-parked and did not use valet. Don't spend the extra $10 for valet unless you have tons of luggage that doesn't roll. It took about 2 minutes to park and find the elevator.
