Central Delhi has scores of reminders of British rule in India and numerous historic monuments can be viewed here. At its core, the majestic Rajpath runs from the grand Rashtrapati Bhavan in the west, to the India Gate war monument, designed by Edwin Lutyens, in the east. The National Museum is situated south of the central junction. Connaught Place, a flourishing commercial center, lies to the north of Central Delhi. Most of the airline offices, travel agents, and banks are here. In Central Delhi, tourists can stroll through ancient structures and even the Delhi Zoo, close to the Purana Qila. Central Delhi offers shopping experiences from the stylish to the bargain basement, with cafes and restaurants that suit the general business crowd as well as international visitors. Other prominent places in the area include Chandni Chowk and Pahar Ganj.

Great hotel. Very considerate staff. Loved the food at " Bukhara" which is rated as one of the best hotels in Asia. The only downside was that the hotel is away from the city center, shopping and sightseeing venues. Having commented on a slight inconvenience on our previous stay we were met by the department head and informed of the action taken and shown every courtesy during our return stay. This has long been a favourite hotel of mine and we will certainly return again

"Immaculate laundry service"

The laundry was returned in a short time and was immaculately ironed. The room was great but the view of the workmen outside the window and the back of the satellite dishes was rather expensive!!

Гостиница хорошая учитывая общее состояние самого города Дели. Расположена в дипломатическом районе. Удаление от деловых бизнес центров 30-40 км. По меркам и состоянию движения в городе это утром 1,5 часа, вечером до 2-х часов на машине. Общественного транспорта рядом нет.
