Hotel Allegro, a Kimpton Hotel - 芝加哥

It's a very cozy and stylish hotel that is convenient for biz and fun for personal. The room isn't big but well equipped and comfortable. The hotel is inviting and comfy lobby is a good social place during daily beer complimentary time! Will stay again when coming to Chicago..

The room was comfortable, the staff attentive and the hotel was charming. Even though my room was directly across from the elevator, there was no noise to wake me at night, Surprisingly quiet. I would stay there again.

Great place to hang. The multiple tiers to lobby are awesome. Too bad I was so busy doing other stuff. TOTALLY COOL URBAN NOT TOO HIP.

I have no issues with the hotel - but hotels.com said parking was free, and it ended up being $51 per night. Be prepared for that.

Clean, contemporary, affordable room right downtown. Valet is quick and easy, though $52/24 hours. Staff is polite and informative. Great location. Internet is free if you sign up for their free rewards program, but slow/sometimes non-existent -- which may cause a problem if you're traveling for business.

The room was nice and clean. It was a tad small, but nothing unreasonable. The wine reception was awesome at this hotel! Beer, wine, sangria and soda. Nice way to start your evening. The location can't be beat. So close to everything in the loop that we were able to walk everywhere. I'll definitely stay here again!

We were very impressed with the hotel. The service was excellent and every one of our needs were met quickly. Location was within walking distance to most major points of interest. Hotel was very convenient to where I had to work and to the CTA. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. By joining the Kimpton network, I received free WiFi and a credit to the in-room bar.

Queen room was small but OK for one. Two would have been been tight; very small closet, small bathroom, sink, counter, no couch or casual chair. Nice desk & work chair, good flat screen and TV channel lineup. Quiet room.

Very nice hotel with some fun nooks and crannies for cocktails. Small rooms but clean. Very good for Loop adventures and nice walk to Michigan Ave/Soldier Field, museums.

The title pretty much sums it up. The room was VERY small (and I've stayed in some small NYC rooms). Very nice place for a short city break, the hotel interior is full of interesting original art deco features combined with beautiful modern furnishings, the wine reception every evening is lively and makes of a good start to a night out, the gym is well equipped and the area itself makes for a good place to stay. This hotel is very nice for the price. The décor is fun and trendy. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. While there were ice machines on our floor, we couldn't find any vending machines with soda/water, which would have been nice after coming in late from the bars. My only complaint about our room is that we had two double beds […] (wish they were queens) and we were put in a handicap accessible room so the walk-in shower would get water all over the bathroom floor, so you had to be careful not to slip or get your socks wet. I understand I booked through Hotels.com and fully expected the room not to be the best of what they had available, but I was completely disgusted by the quality of the room. I absolutely loved the decor, but upon further inspection, I was disgusted by the lack of cleanliness. The room smelled of moth balls and dust; the nightstands, desk and mirror […] were dirty and looked like they hadn't been properly cleaned in months. Beautiful lobby with complimentary wine/beer tasting. Nicely decorated rooms, comfortable beds & pillows. Good location, in walking distance to everything one would want to see in Chicago. The water in the shower gets extremely hot & stays hot for a long time, this is great after spending the day walking.The hotel was quiet in the evenings & loud in […] the morning. The only negatives I can report; You won't have much luck sleeping in. The entry door to the room needed to be cleaned from shoe marks; The sink drained extremely slow & the toilet had to be flushed a couple of times in order for waste to go down all of the way, possible plumming issue. 詳情

We enjoyed our stay and it was conveniently located to shoppinng, food, and entertainment. We felt comfortable and safe. The room was very clean as was the hotel.The staff were very nice from the check-in to housekeeping.

The location and price can't be beat. This is an updated older hotel. High ceilings, classic facing on the elevators, nice lobby, nice staff. Very pleasant place to stay in the heart of the city, convenient to the El (and, thus, to O'Hare via the blue line), and even within a (longish) walk to Union Station.

Our only negative observation was that the bathroom was tiny and had virtually no counter space to put drinking glasses, bottles, etc. on.

Room is tiny and not comfortable. Bathroom sink is tiny and narrow.

My main criticism is the size of the room and its decor. I'm not sure when the rooms were last decorated but the room looked like it had either been decorated a LONG time ago or was rushed when it was done if done so recently. It suited my needs perfectly for the weekend I stayed but I think I would be curious to stay at one of their other Chicago locations […] next time. 詳情
