  (Nice and helpful)Staff at front desk can speak English. Short-handed in the morning, took 5 mins to check-in at 2pm but waited 30mins to check-out at 9am. Good location, 15-20 mins walk to the nearest subway station. Bus station nearby (I prefer bus over subway, but you need to use google map to plan your route in advance). One computer located at public area. Not really sound-proofing wall. Hot water and drainage worked just fine. Facility condition – Fair.

  北京王府半島酒店是一家高級五星酒店。雖然明顯地建築物是由舊翻新外觀不是一流，但內裡環境非常好。酒店內有各大最高級品牌商店，中西餐廳的菜餚，味道和服務都非常好。我這次入住的是普通房間。整潔度，舒適度都一流。附近有很多食市和商店，包括比較著名東來順和全聚德。 唯一不好的地方是地點，我這次入住是星期五，六，日三天。但只有在星期日一天能打到車。其他時間連空車都見不到一輛。只好用地鐵。 如果你是以自由行方式旅遊，建議你最好先找到能信賴的包車，否則地鐵加步行可能浪費很多時間和體力。 不論如何，這酒店也值得推薦和再入住。

  Though an old hotel, it is in good condition. The room is spacious, and the king bed is huge. It is clean and quiet. Room facilities and supplies are adequate: good central air-conditioning, flat screen TV, hair-dryer, safe, fridge, complimentary bottle water, you name it. Things that are not so good about it: 1. location is not ideal, not near any subway station, though it is only a couple of miles away from the Tian'anmen Sqaure; 2. the room is not very sound-proof and you can hear people walking and talking in the hallway. The special thing about this hotel is it has a Peking Opera theme and there's even a Peking Opera theatre in the hotel lobby. All in all, would definitly recommend it for a comfortable yet budgte stay oand a cultural experience.

  Excellent hotel service! and the price is reasonable. We were there for 3 nights and the hotel has a swimming pool down there in the basement. It's very secure for us to stay there cause they will always have someone like a manager to go through all floors to make sure everything is alright. And their altitudes are way better than typical Beijing people. However, it's not really that convenient to go to the Subway, it takes around 15 mins to walk. Though... If you take a taxi, it's very very convenient and cheap, cause it's not far from the Forbidden City, Wangfujing and all other tourist spots.. Around RMB10 to go for these places.. so it's alright.. This hotel is highly recommended.

  when we arrived at the hotel and wanted to check in, the reception lady told us the hotel was overly booked and asked us to go to another hotel nearby, it was quite ridiculour as we have never received any notifications from the hotel. The sky was already dark and we had no choice but to relocate to another hotel.

  Very good location. Many restaurants round to choose from. Metro system is very convenient and cheap, 2 rmb to anywhere to avoid beijing's horrible traffic. The water pressure is like crazy low. Current exchange is good and fast. Tour is very expensive maybe it is the "Grayline." No breakfast eat and MacDonal's for 10 rmb.

  On this economic price, the quality of the stay is 90/100 The location is good, yet a lot of visitors from the local tours crowded there in the morning for the restaurants. You have to try the special three in one shampoo, conditioner with bathing soap.
