  Not bad. Service is good! But No slippers.We asked the front desk but the housekeeping said "short of stock"; No toothpaste just mouth wash; breakfast is not satisfactory....

  The hotel location is good which is just adjacent to the metro station. Few minutes walk to old town and old port that makes the city walk in hustle-free. Another credit goes to the reception staff who has good memory and helpful. Lastly, surprisingly the in-room dining dishes was so delicious. Highly recommend as those are value for money.

  This place is likely to be run by a family. The receptionist (likely the boss) and his mother (I guess) did maintenance themselves. They are Spanish descendants (as told by the receptionist), which may be a plus for those who speak español, though they are not good at English. And they are cordial people indeed. Many reviewers commented this is a B&B or a hostel. But to me, except for the small shared shower rooms/toilets, this place is just a lovely hotel. They offered Wi-fi and HDTV (w/ remote), and there are channels in French and English (e.g. CNN, Discovery.) There is a washstand in the room, which is convenient for hand/face washing as well as tooth brushing. They emptied the trash can and tidied up the bed everyday. I am not sure if the covers of pillows were changed everyday because I saw some dust (didn't know why) and hairs (likely mine :P ) for one or two days. Yet the room is in general clean. The breakfast is simple and good enough for me, which includes a cup of beverage (coffee or chocolate out of a machine), muffins, croissants, yogurt, and fruits like apples and bananas. There is a 24-hr café with internet (Café Noir) just under this hotel. Salads, sandwiches, and desserts are sold besides coffee. Though it might be very convenient, but this store also attracts young people at night, and some may make loud noise which disturbs your sleep -- though not a serious problem to me. In summary, I would like to stay here next time I have a chance to visit Montréal. I make here a list of pros & cons: * The price is great. * The room is clean and cozy. * The staffs are friendly. * Just beside the Métro Station Mont-Royal, and the buses of Route 11 can take you to the Parc du Mont-Royal. * Lots of restaurants on Rue St. Denis in the same block. * A 24-hr café under the hotel. * The shower room is kind of small (~ 2x2 sq. ft.) * To get hot water for shower, you have to turn the shower valve counterclockwise very quickly and wait for a few m
